6 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier largely struggled upon his return from the disabled list in early June, but in recent days he seems to have gotten into a bit of a groove. In a 6-4 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, Frazier finished 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and an RBI. It marks the sixth time in the last seven games Frazier has picked up a hit, though Thursday’s effort was his first home run over that span. He’s now slashing .225/.319/.405 with eight home runs, 24 runs scored, and 29 RBI on the year. If he stays healthy, he should rebound to a fair extent in the season’s second half.--John Smith
