Todd Frazier Sitting Against Pirates On Monday
6 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier will have the day off on Monday, with infielder Luis Guillorme getting the start in his place against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Although a day of rest could always be a good thing for the 32-year-old, the timing is a little peculiar. Frazier has largely struggled since coming off the disabled list in early June but has played better as of late. Frazier has picked up multi-hit games in two of his last four outings with one home run, the first span he’s accomplished that in since May 1-4. Hopefully, Frazier won’t miss a beat when he returns to the lineup on Tuesday.
