7 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier is getting the night off on Tuesday for the second game of the team’s series in Cincinnati against the Reds. It's somewhat of an odd day off, seeing as it’s Frazier’s first trip back to Cincinnati after spending the duration of his career there until 2015, but he could use the day off. He’s 0-for-13 with four strikeouts over his last three games, so perhaps a day to clear his head before his slump turns into an extended cold streak will do him some good. Jose Reyes will take Frazier’s place at the hot corner, but he is not worth fantasy consideration with how bad he’s been playing.--John Smith
