Todd Gurley II Finds The End Zone In Week 1
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley II carried the ball 14 times for 56 rushing yards with a touchdown in a 38-25 loss to the Seahawks. Gurley II didn't get much work in the passing game and managed an average 4.0 yards per carry. Still, head coach Dan Quinn indicated that game script shifted the team's focus away from the run more than he would have liked, which robbed the star back from any further production. It is also likely that Quinn didn't want to run Gurley II out there for 20-plus carries in Week 1, especially with his health concerns. The 25-year-old will look to get more of a bigger workload against Dallas in Week 2.
