Todd Gurley II Has Quiet Day
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley II ended Week 14 with six carries for 19 yards and two receptions for 12 yards on three targets. Gurley has recently been dealing with a knee injury and was expected to take on a bigger workload this week, but that never panned out. Fellow back Ito Smith had more carries and rush yards in this contest. While Gurley's role as the RB1 should not feel threatened, the back has now rushed for less than 30 yards and gotten less than 10 carries in the past three games. As a result, be cautious in starting the back going forward.
