4 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley has been mentioned as a player that could sit out in Week 17 as there is nothing to play for with the team eliminated from the playoffs. The arthritic condition of his knee clearly plagued him for most of the season, and he didn't even practice Friday. The Arizona Cardinals are a midrange matchup. At best, Gurley is a midrange RB2. That's not enough upside to outweigh the considerable downside of him not playing much.--Ryan Dodson
