7 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley will not play in the third preseason game against the Houston Texans on Saturday. It's pretty unusual for a team not to play their starters for at least a series or two during the preseason. There is a good chance that we won't see Gurley and quarterback Jared Goff together until Week 1 of the regular season. John Kelly and Malcolm Brown should see a bulk of snaps at running back on Saturday. Kelly has been very impressive through two games and could earn himself the backup job behind Gurley if he continues to succeed. However, Gurley is likely the only running back in the Rams organization worth rostering in fantasy leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
