7 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady expressed his discontent with the team's coaching staff during a live interview with Jim Gray on Monday. When Gray asked if Brady felt gratitude for his accomplishments, Brady said, "I plead... the Fifth!" “The answer may incriminate me. The answer isn’t easy to utter. Many people don’t feel fully appreciated at work and I am one of them. But they believe they get the best results at my place of employment when they make you feel wholly replaceable no matter what you’ve done. So I’m going to live with that.” It's not surprising for there to be some hard feelings for a quarterback and coach combination that have been together for so long, but that dynamic has worked, so it's hard for Brady to complain. However, with Brady nearing the end of his career, he's likely growing more tired of head coach Bill Belichick's tough love. In the grand scheme of things, this is just a side story in the offseason. When the pads come on and the Patriots enter the regular season, not many will remember this non-story. Brady remains a strong QB1 option heading into 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
