Tom Brady Stifled By Lions Defense
6 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady completed only 14 of 26 passes for 133 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Patriots 26-10 loss to the Lions. Brady was under siege throughout the first half by Detroit's defense and then struggled to move the ball downfield in the second. The future Hall of Famer did make a fantastic throw to running back James White for a touchdown to cut the deficit to 23-10 but it wasn't enough. The Patriots are thin on skill-position players in the passing game and Brady's fantasy numbers are suffering. Until receivers Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon get on the field the Patriots offense will continue to struggle.
