3 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Tom Kennedy is making a strong case to make the Week 1 roster when the Lions make their final cuts Tuesday afternoon. The 5'10" receiver has led the team in receiving yards in two of the team's three preseason games and has been praised consistently by head coach Dan Campbell throughout camp. Campbell told reporters Kennedy has "the inside track" to become the team's WR5 but the Lions will certainly scour the waiver wire across the league in hopes of improving their receiving core. Plus the Lions coaching staff has already made a statement by cutting Breshad Perriman so Kennedy's status is very much up in the air.--Joey C - RotoBaller
