6 years agoWashington Capitals right wing Tom Wilson picked up two goals and an assist during a 4-1 win over the New York Islanders on Monday night. Wilson has been on fire since returning from his suspension on November 13. He has six goals, six assists, 19 hits, and 21 shots through eight games. Wilson is playing on the top line alongside Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin. He has been an absolute terror in the offensive end. Wilson was a former first-round pick for a reason. While he plays with an edge, he is also capable of chipping in offensively.
