Tomas Hertl Wins It In Double-Overtime
6 years agoSan Jose Sharks center Tomas Hertl registered the game-winning tally in the second overtime in Sunday's Game 6 victory in the Western Conference Quarterfinals against the Vegas Golden Knights. Hertl became the first player in NHL history to notch a shorthanded goal in a playoff game requiring multiple overtimes, and he was just the ninth player in league history to notch a shorthanded tally in an overtime game in the postseason. He has logged five goals and six points with a plus-2 rating, two power-play goals and a shorthanded marker in six games in this series. Game 7 is set for Tuesday night in San Jose.
