Tomas Nido Drives In Two
3 years agoNew York Mets catcher Tomas Nido went 1-for-5 Saturday night, driving in two runs and scoring one himself. Nido has been excellent at the plate over his last 15 games, slashing .298/.340/.532 with a home run and seven RBI. As long as he's receiving regular playing time, Nido will continue to make a case that he ought to be rostered in two-catcher leagues. His days as an everyday player may be coming to an end, however, with Pete Alonso set to return from the injured list, shifting James McCann back behind the plate.
