7 years agoVegas Golden Knights left wing Tomas Tatar was back in the lineup for the first time since May 2 on Monday, and he took full advantage of his opportunity as he opened the scoring in a 3-1 win. Tatar lined up on the third line, taking David Perron's place. Head coach Gerard Gallant noted after the game that Perron had not felt well ahead of the game. He should recover for Game 3, which is on Wednesday, and that will create a headache for Gallant. Perron has played very well all year long, while Tatar has struggled since arriving from Detroit midseason. Monday's outing was only his fifth postseason game of the year and the goal marks his first point. He's also recorded just six shots on goal, so Tatar hasn't got much fantasy appeal.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
