3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman was excellent at the plate on Saturday, going 4-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored in a lopsided 13-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Edman had three singles and a double out of the leadoff spot in the Cardinals order and raised his batting average to .265 and his OPS to .706. Edman was off to an amazing start earlier this season but has definitely cooled off lately. Maybe this four-hit performance will be the start of another hot streak.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
