4 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Tommy Hunter (back) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with lower back pain, the team announced through Twitter on Friday. Hunter has not allowed a run over four appearances this season, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out six in eight innings of work. It's yet another player for New York landing on the IL, as it's getting more and more difficult for them to field a major-league squad.
