3 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder Tommy La Stella (Achilles) was activated from the injured list on Monday and was in the starting lineup for the first time this season on Monday against Colorado Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela, serving as the designated hitter while batting eighth in the batting order. La Stella is making his season debut after having surgery on his right Achilles last October. The 33-year-old veteran hit .310 with two home runs in nine minor league rehab games, and he should be a lineup regular for the Giants against right-handed pitching, giving him some deep mixed and NL-only value for his power stroke from the left side of the plate.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
