2 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder Tommy La Stella (back) was scratched from the lineup on Friday night against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers due to back tightness. It was the second straight game that La Stella missed due to the back injury. The 33-year-old has played in just 17 games this year after getting a late start to the season while recovering from an Achilles injury, and he's hitting only .230/.266/.426 with two home runs, six RBI and seven runs scored in 64 plate appearances. He's gone 2-for-13 (.154) with no homers or RBI in four games over the last week, making him only viable as bench depth in NL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
