4 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Tommy La Stella doubled and scored a run in a win over the Dodgers Wednesday. The most notable part of this game for La Stella was the fact he struck out, something he has been better at avoiding than every other player in 2020. La Stella sports a microscopic 4.8 percent strike rate which is exactly half the rate of the next-lowest qualified hitter (DJ LeMahieu). He has been solid since being traded to Oakland with a .280 average and 15 runs in 23 games.
