3 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder Tommy La Stella (hand, hamstring) has a small fracture in his throwing hand and will be shut down from baseball activities for two weeks, according to Maria Guardado of MLB.com. La Stella had just joined Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment as he works his way back from a left hamstring strain that's kept him sidelined since the beginning of May. He hadn't been having a great year at the plate prior to the injury, as he was slashing .235/.297/.353 over 25 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
