4 years agoOakland Athletics first/second baseman Tommy La Stella will be among the starting nine for the second leg of the club’s doubleheader against the Astros and right-hander Zack Greinke on Saturday. The A’s acquired La Stella from the Angels late Friday night, but with every game taking on heightened importance in 2020, they have made it imperative that they get him in the lineup as soon as possible. Having delivered an .845 OPS through his first 28 games with more than double the amount of walks (15) as he has strikeouts (seven), season-long owners of La Stella can rest easy as he appears to be in line for full-time duties despite his new surroundings.--Jesse Borek
