4 years agoSan Francisco Giants second/third baseman Tommy La Stella (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left hamstring sprain. La Stella exited Sunday's game against the Padres and got an MRI on Monday, after which manager Gabe Kapler said he expected La Stella to go on the IL. The veteran is slashing just .235/.297/.353 to start the season. Jason Vosler, who had a great spring, was recalled from the Giants alternate training site in a corresponding move.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
