4 years agoOakland Athletics second/third baseman Tommy La Stella (head) has been given the green light to return to the field for the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader versus the Mariners and right-hander Justin Dunn. La Stella was removed from Game 1 after being hit in the head by an errant throw following a triple. La Stella has compiled a .352 OBP with eight extra-base hits in 25 games since joining Oakland, and his presence at the top of the order gives him added DFS appeal entering the playoffs.--Jesse Borek
