6 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Tommy La Stella (back) was scratched from the starting lineup on Sunday after dealing with lower back pain after taking pre-game ground balls. David Bote replaced La Stella at the hot corner. La Stella has been an effective utility man for the Cubbies this year, hitting .270 with only one homer and 19 RBI on the season.
