Tommy Pham Batting Fourth In Tampa Bay Debut
6 years agoNewly acquired Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham is playing left field and batting fourth in his debut with the team. Pham usually batted second for the Cardinals, but will now be in a better opportunity to produce runs. With Kevin Kiermaier, Jake Bauers and Matt Duffy all in front of him, Pham has a major opportunity to see his RBI numbers increase, assuming he remains in the cleanup spot. On the season, Pham is hitting .248 with 14 home runs, 41 RBI and 10 stolen bases. He's going to see everyday playing time with Rays and makes for an excellent addition if he is available on your waiver wire.
