Tommy Pham Goes Hitless In Return
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (hand) went 0-for-4 as the designated hitter in his return to the lineup on Friday in the 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Pham left the game early on Tuesday after colliding with teammate Nick Senzel in the outfield. After his hitless performance in his return to action, Pham is still searching for his first hit as a member of the Reds through his first six games. He is 0-for-19 with one stolen base, two runs scored, four walks and four strikeouts. Pham was a disappointment in the last two seasons with the San Diego Padres, slashing .226/.335/.370 with 18 home runs, 61 RBI, 87 runs scored and 20 stolen bases in 186 games.
