Tommy Pham Has Three Hits, Steals A Base
3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham had a strong game Saturday, going 3-for-4 with three singles and a stolen base, his eleventh, against the New York Mets. Pham's speed was on display, as two of his three hits were of the infield variety. Most importantly, Pham continued to bat leadoff despite the return of Trent Grisham. Grisham instead slotted into the two spot. Pham is in his best stretch of the season, with an .881 OPS over his last 15 games, and he'll get a boost in the runs department from staying atop the lineup. Fantasy managers who managed to buy low will happily reap the rewards of their investment going forward.
