4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham (face) is in the starting lineup for the Padres game against the New York Mets on Friday batting leadoff and playing left field. Pham sat out Thursday's game after he collided with shortstop Ha-Seong Kim while attempting to track a flyball during the Padres game on Wednesday. Pham received stitches in his chin due to the collision. Fortunately, Pham, who has finally started to heat up at the plate, will avoid a stint on the injured list. Over his last seven games, Pham has posted a .321/.387/.571 slash line with two home runs and four RBI in 28 at-bats, raising his average to .220 on the season. With his bat heating up, managers should be sure to have Pham active in most formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
