Tommy Pham Staying Hot

5 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham has continued to post an excellent average and on-base percentage despite somewhat disappointing counting stats. Pham has hit .318 with a .414 OBP in the past month, but only posted 14 runs, three homers, nine RBI, and one stolen base. No one would consider this a bad month, but the runs and RBI were expected to be much better with Pham and the improved Rays lineup. There has been some inconsistency in front and behind Pham in the lineup contributing to that. Fantasy owners should take note that all of his statcast hitting categories are way above average. Bet on Pham to keep the average and OBP up and likely turn in more counting stats in the second half.--Zach Alexander
