Tommy Sweeney Wins Backup Role
3 years agoBuffalo Bills tight end Tommy Sweeney will be the No. 2 tight end option for the team heading into the season. He saw limited action during his rookie season in 2019. Sadly, he missed all of the 2020 season due to a heart condition. Sweeney outplayed Jacob Hollister in training camp and won the backup role. However, Dawson Knox will remain the starting tight end in Buffalo. Honestly, neither of them are projected to do much with the Bills being stacked at wide receiver. It's unlikely that Sweeney has any kind of fantasy value while Knox is healthy.
