3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Tony DeAngelo contributed with two assists in Friday's 6-3 win over Philadelphia, getting both of his helpers in the second frame to turn a close game into a convincing win. Carolina produced a big four-goal second period to avoid a third consecutive loss. The team has hit a wall a bit recently, but DeAngelo has stayed hot and will bring a four-game point streak with him into Sunday's matchup against Washington.
