Tony Gonsolin Only Lasts 3 2/3 Innings
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin picked up another no-decision in Sunday's contest versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Gonsolin went 3 2/3 innings and allowed three hits, one run, zero walks and struck out two on the afternoon. It was Gonsolin's third start of the season and tied for his longest outing since returning from a shoulder injury that delayed his start to the season. Gonsolin only threw 46 pitches, but he should continue to go deeper into games as the season goes on. Managers should remain patient with Gonsolin and it could pay off in a big way. Next up for Gonsolin will be a matchup versus the Chicago Cubs on Friday.
