3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin returned to the mound on Wednesday for a start against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but struggled in a no-decision. Gonsolin only lasted 1 2/3 innings in his return and allowed two hits, one run, five walks and struck out four. The right-hander was rusty in his return with the five walks, but that's not unusual for most players returning from a long injury. Despite the rough outing, Gonsolin should remain rostered in most formats and managers should remain patient with his ability to be a big piece of help in managers rotations down the stretch. Gonsolin's next start will come against the Philadelphia Phillies at home on Monday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
