3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Tony Kemp went 2-for-3 as the leadoff hitter in a loss to the Yankees on Friday. Kemp did a good job setting the table for the Oakland offense, but the hitters behind him could get little done facing Yankee ace Gerrit Cole. Kemp has seen more playing time lately as his versatility gets him on the field at several positions, but he's still not much of a fantasy option. Kemp is batting .252 with a strong .369 on-base percentage, but that comes with almost no power as he's slugging under .400 with just four homers.
