3 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Tony Kemp went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in a loss to the Rangers on Monday. Kemp has now reached base safely in 11 straight games. He was rewarded for his efforts by batting leadoff in this game which would be a big boost for his fantasy value if he keeps hitting near the top of a good A's lineup. Kemp has more walks than strikeouts this season and his .433 OBP in the month of June ranks 13th in baseball. Kemp is a strong addition for fantasy managers looking for batting average or OBP help.
