3 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman/outfielder Tony Kemp pinch-hit in Sunday's victory versus the New York Yankees and went 1-for-2 with a game winning two-run home run off of Chad Green in the bottom of the eighth inning. Kemp has been playing a nice role for the Athletics this season and is hitting .263 with five home runs, 24 RBI and five stolen bases on the season. Kemp has seen an uptick in playing time with outfielder Seth Brown (COVID-19) going on the COVID-19 injured list earlier in the week. Kemp has been swinging a hot bat of late, but just doesn't get in the lineup enough to make an impact in most formats. He's best suited left on the waiver wire.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
