Tony Kemp Launches Three-Run Homer At New York
3 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Tony Kemp went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer that turned out to be the difference in the game Friday at the Yankees. Kemp is now slashing .274/.388/.435 on the season, all career-highs. He's been phenomenal at the bottom of the order for Oakland as he's got 24 walks to just 25 strikeouts to help set up the A's strong hitters at the top of the batting order. He won't produce a ton of power so his fantasy appeal is limited to deeper leagues. However, those in OBP leagues can take a look at Kemp as he should continue getting on base at a high rate.
