Tony Kemp Riding Five-Game Hit-Streak Into Colorado
3 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Tony Kemp is riding a five-game hit-streak and now will play a series in baseball's best hitting environment, Coors Field. Kemp has his batting average up to .279 while his on-base percentage is over 100 points higher at .381. The 29-year-old is sporting elite plate discipline as he's striking out just 16.8 percent of the time while posting a career-high 13.9 percent walk rate. Kemp isn't a power hitter by any measure, but he's holding his own this season with a .140 ISO and a .419 slugging percentage, both career-highs as well. He's not a must-add player in fantasy, but those looking for batting average or OBP help can look to Kemp this weekend in Colorado.
