2 years agoChicago White Sox skipper Tony La Russa will be out indefinitely while undergoing further testing with his personal doctors in Arizona. Bench coach Miguel Cairo will take over as the interim manager while La Russa is away. "We are going to keep him in our thoughts and hopefully everything is fine," Cairo said. La Russa showed no signs of health issues during his pregame session with reporters on Tuesday. He's in his second season with the White Sox. The team has dropped five games in a row heading into Wednesday's contest to fall to 63-66 on the year. La Russa was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014, and he's one of only two managers to win the World Series in both the American and National Leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
