2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard, much like the rest of the Cowboys offense, didn't do too much in a Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs. Pollard ran the ball six times for just eight total yards and caught two passes for 14 yards. There were several occasions when Ezekiel Elliott and Pollard were in the backfield together, and there should theoretically be better days ahead for both backs, but with Dak Prescott (hand) now expected to miss up to two months, it could be rough times for the Cowboys offense for a while. Pollard won't be much more than a deeper FLEX option until he can prove otherwise.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
