Tony Pollard Ruled Out For Saturday's Game
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (foot), cornerback Trevon Diggs (illness) and safety Jayron Kearse (hamstring) will not travel with the team to Philadelphia and have been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Eagles. Pollard tore the plantar fascia in his left foot back in Week 13, but he only missed one game and had been serving as Ezekiel Elliott's change-of-pace back in recent weeks. The Cowboys likely want to have the 24-year-old rest another week before the start of the playoffs. With Pollard out of the picture, Elliott will have a higher fantasy ceiling, although Corey Clement could also handle plenty of backfield work in Pollard's place in a game that the Cowboys don't have to win.
