2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott remains the team's lead ball-carrier, proving last year before he got hurt that he remains one of the elite backs in the league. Tony Pollard may be able to best help the offense as the Cowboys look to replace the 113 catches, 1,467 yards and 14 touchdowns that receivers Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson Jr. produced in 2021. At Memphis, Pollard mostly played receiver out of the slot. "He can get out there and be one of our best pass-catchers, and just the way that he's grown, just with his route running from the time that we've asked him to take on that role is impressive itself," quarterback Dak Prescott said. The 25-year-old averaged 5.5 yards per carry and had a career-high 719 rushing yards on 130 carries while also catching 39 passes for 337 receiving yards. Zeke is still the lead back, but Pollard might have more upside at this point, especially in PPR leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
