Tony Santillan Goes Three Innings In Loss
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tony Santillan allowed three runs over three innings in an 8-2 loss to the San Diego Padres on Friday. Santillan struck out three and walked one as he was credited with the loss. The rookie hurler was not treated kindly by the Padres as he gave up a leadoff homer to outfielder Tommy Pham in the contest and gave up one run in each of his subsequent two innings pitched. Santillan has now made two starts for the Reds, compiling a 0-1 record, 4.70 ERA, 1.83 WHIP, and eight strikeouts in 7 2/3 innings of work. Santillan will face off against the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.
