Tony Santillan Lasts Just Three Innings Vs. Padres
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tony Santillan allowed three runs (two earned) over three innings in a 5-4 loss to the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. Santillan struck out four and walked two in the outing as he took the loss. The rookie right-hander now has a 1-2 record, 3.78 ERA, 1.68 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts over 16 2/3 innings of work. While he has performed well, Santillan could be moved to the bullpen once right-hander Sonny Gray (back) is activated from the injured list on Friday.
