Touki Toussaint Struggles With Control On Tuesday
6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Touki Toussaint allowed two runs on three hits in five innings of work during Tuesday's 7-3 win over the New York Mets. The rookie struck out six batters while walking five in the no-decision. Toussaint has issued a total of 17 walks over his past four outings, which is something he will undoubtedly work on over the offseason. Regardless, the 22-year-old has been impressive in his first season of big league action. Aside from a brutal relief appearance, Toussaint has a 2-1 record with a 3.33 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 29/17 K/BB ratio through five starts. He is an interesting fantasy option for 2019.
