6 years agoCarolina Panthers offensive guard Trai Turner (concussion) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (heart) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 against the Falcons. Wide receiver Damiere Byrd (knee) was also ruled out. With Turner out, the Panthers are also missing left tackle Matt Kalil and right tackle Daryl Williams. That's really bad news for the running game and quarterback Cam Newton, and Atlanta's defensive line could be living in the backfield for this one. Samuel is dealing with an irregular heartbeat and has no timetable to return.
