Travis D'Arnaud And Tyler Flowers Able To Workout On Tuesday
4 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis D'Arnaud (illness) was able to get a workout in after missing the first five games with symptoms related to the coronavirus. Backup catcher Tyler Flowers (illness) is also dealing with the symptoms but was able to workout. Both have tested negative but the team is operating cautiously. Manager Brian Snitker said that one or both could be available for Wednesday's home opener against the Tampa Bay Rays. Former first-round pick Alex Jackson has been manning the catching duties in their absences. D'Arnaud had a .782 OPS in just 92 games with the Tampa Bay Rays last year.
