Travis d'Arnaud Not In Monday's Lineup
3 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud is not in Monday's starting lineup to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to MLB.com. The backstop is slashing .218/.283/.397 with seven home runs in 49 games this season. He's been a bit better since coming back from the injured list on August 11, slugging .446 with a .217 average in 26 games. William Contreras will take over behind the plate and bat eighth. His rookie season hasn't gone as planned, as he's put up a .653 OPS across 47 games. He should be left on the waiver wire in favor of a better catcher.
