The veteran has logged 156 plate appearances for Atlanta this year, hitting .224 with a .282 on-base percentage and six home runs. Stephen Vogt is batting eighth and starting at catcher against the Nationals. The 36-year-old is batting .188 with a .277 on-base percentage and five home runs in 236 plate appearances this season.
