Travis Etienne Jr. Excelling As A Pass-Catcher In Camp
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars first-round rookie running back Travis Etienne Jr. has exceeded lofty expectations as a pass-catcher thus far in training camp. SI's John Shipley noted that "the usage of Etienne as a pass-catcher has been evident throughout the first week of camp... he has shown terrific hands and burst after the catch." Etienne profiles as an elite pass-catching back in the NFL, as he's coming off a college career at Clemson in which he totaled 102 receptions, 1155 yards, and eight touchdowns through the air. In PPR leagues Etienne has a real path to being a mid-range RB2 due to his projected dual-threat role in the Jaguars offense.
